An umpires course will be held over 2 days on Saturday 18th and 25th February 2012 at The St. Christopher School, Mountdale Gardens, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 4AW.  Each day will begin at 9.45 a.m. and will end at approximately 5.00 p.m. Tea and coffee will be available, but attendees should bring their own lunch.

The cost of the course is £55 which includes a Study Pack, a new MCC Law book, Tom Smith's new "Cricket Umpiring and Scoring" book and a year's membership of ECB ACO. The cost also includes an examination at the end of the second day.

The third pitch consisting of 6 strips has been laid on the back playing field at Rawreth Lane and should be ready for play in 2013.

This is another major advance in the development of the Club but we do need as many members as possible to support our social events i.e. the New Year's Eve party (Note the revised alternative price for adult members "18 & over (No Alcohol)  £15.00  (includes music, food, fireworks & soft drinks (any Alcoholic drinks to be paid for)".

It has just been confirmed our T Rippon teams will be in Divisions 1, 4, 7, 9 and 11 next year.
